> A Carinthian woman received a ten-month severance package after the Chamber of Labor intervened in her retroactive disability status case.

A woman from **Carinthia**, employed at her company for 14 years, received a notice of termination in September 2025. At the time of her dismissal, a legal procedure was already underway to determine if she qualified for the status of a favored disabled person.

The **Social Ministry Service** initially denied her status, but she filed a complaint. A subsequent notice confirmed a 70 percent disability degree, granting her favored status retroactively. **Katharina Uran** of the **Chamber of Labor** (AK) then led the negotiations.

The employee and employer agreed to end the relationship through an out-of-court settlement. The AK secured a severance package of ten monthly salaries for the woman, totaling 38,300 euros gross, ensuring her financial protection after over a decade of work.
