# Austria Begins Distribution of Flu Vaccines

> Austria launches its seasonal flu vaccination campaign with 868,000 doses of Influvac being distributed to medical practices nationwide.

**Austria** has officially launched the distribution of the **Influvac** influenza vaccine, with a total of 868,000 doses planned for the public. The step-by-step delivery process began on October 27, as the first 200,000 doses are sent to medical practices nationwide.

An additional 467,000 Influvac doses are already in the country and will be distributed starting next week, while the remaining supply is scheduled to arrive in early November. Specialized vaccines include 259,000 nasal spray doses and 538,000 Fluad doses.

The **Ministry** has also secured 100,000 doses of Flucelvax specifically for pregnant women and young children. This comprehensive distribution strategy ensures that various demographic groups, including those over 60, have access to necessary seasonal protection.
