Austrian authorities conducted a nationwide Joint Action Day against extremism across all nine federal states. Led by the DSN and carried out by the LSE, the operation targeted twenty suspects for violating the Prohibition Act and incitement to hatred laws.

Investigations focused on activities within WhatsApp, Telegram, and Facebook groups. The operation included ten house searches involving eleven suspects in Vienna, Lower Austria, Tyrol, Upper Austria, Burgenland, and Vorarlberg, where one person was arrested.

Officials issued two provisional weapons bans and conducted nationwide threat talks. Interior Minister Gerhard Karner oversaw the action. The DSN maintains a reporting office for National Socialist activities via the email address [email protected].
