# Austrian Students Plan October Budget Protests

The **Universities Conference** fears potential savings of one billion euros, while the statutory budget deadline ends on October 31.

If budget cuts occur, the ÖH and universities will organize a joint large-scale demonstration. This alliance previously mobilized tens of thousands of people, and the upcoming government decision remains critical for the future of higher education funding.
