# FPÖ Calls for New Elections Amid SPÖ Crisis

The demand comes ahead of a scheduled SPÖ crisis summit this Sunday, where the party faces internal pressure regarding its leadership.

A recent OGM survey for ServusTV reveals 45 percent of SPÖ voters favor [Andreas Babler](<https://austriareport.com/entity/andreas-babler-q20030152>), while only 16 percent support [Gerhard Zeiler](<https://austriareport.com/entity/gerhard-zeiler-q94626>). Despite Zeiler's open letter seeking member support, 73 percent of respondents would not recognize him on the street.
