hali to Invest 13.5 Million Euros in Eferding

Upper Austrian furniture maker hali plans a multi-phase modernization of its production site by 2030 to expand its institutional reach.

Upper Austrian office furniture manufacturer hali has announced a 13.5 million euro investment to modernize its Eferding production site by 2030. Managing Director Daniel Erlinger confirmed the project includes new facilities and an automated panel warehouse.

The modernization features a 1,200-square-meter hall extension implemented across six construction phases during ongoing operations. Despite revenue shifting from 67 million euros in 2024 to 60 million in 2025, the firm continues its large-scale site upgrades.

With 250 employees producing 135,000 furniture pieces annually, hali aims to expand its solutions for hotels, banks, and medical practices. The company operates seven Austrian sales branches and one German location to support its growing institutional reach.
