Eva-Maria Holzleitner, Minister for Women and Science and deputy chairperson of the SPÖ, has officially announced that she is not available for the party chairmanship. This statement comes ahead of a critical SPÖ party meeting scheduled for this Sunday.

The upcoming meeting, set for 4:00 PM, will include all state party chairpersons, the trade union, and the women's organization. Holzleitner, who leads the SPÖ women, declined to express support for or against specific individuals before these discussions.

Holzleitner described the current polling situation for the SPÖ as alarming, highlighting the urgency of the party's internal deliberations. Her decision clarifies the leadership field as the organization seeks to address its standing before the public.
