# Lidl Austria Launches New Points Loyalty Program

Lidl Österreich is expanding its **Lidl Plus** app by introducing a new point system for customers. Users can now automatically collect Lidl Points for purchases made through the app, with all members receiving an initial credit of 70 points to start.

The new point store features over 270 rewards, including free items and vouchers. A [Kaisersemmel](<https://austriareport.com/entity/kaiser-roll-q156036>) costs 20 points, while the most valuable reward is a free annual vignette for 1,000 points. Point boosters are available to temporarily double point earnings.

According to CCO **Martin Alles**, over two million people use the Lidl Plus app. Existing discounts and individual vouchers remain active alongside this new system, which aims to provide more value to the retailer's growing digital customer base in [Austria](<https://austriareport.com/entity/austria-q40>).
