The district of **Ottakring** is currently examining the implementation of a Low-Traffic-Grätzl, a variant of the Supergrätzl concept. District Chairwoman **Stefanie Lamp** announced that areas around elementary schools in **Brüßlgasse** and **Herbststraße** are being studied. Originating in London and inspired by Barcelona's Superblocks, this model uses altered one-way streets and plant troughs to redirect through-traffic to main roads. Residents and delivery services retain access, while pedestrians and cyclists move freely. The project aims to reclaim urban space for greenery and seating through mobile measures.
