# Polar Air Shift May Bring Early Freeze to Europe

The European **ECMWF** and American **GFS** weather models are signaling a potential shift as polar air prepares to flow from the northeast into **Central Europe**. Current calculations suggest a strong high-pressure area may develop over the **North Sea** by November 10.

A low-pressure system is also simulated over the **Baltic Sea** for the same period. This setup could bring daytime highs of -3 degrees Celsius and nighttime lows of -10 degrees Celsius. These conditions are linked to a weakening or deformation of the polar vortex.

While stratospheric warming often precedes ground-level changes by weeks, this cold phase remains two weeks away. Forecasters caution that these weather models are subject to significant changes before the predicted mid-November timeframe actually arrives.
