Starting December 13, **Westbahn** will launch three daily direct train connections between **Spittal an der Drau** and **Vienna**. The new service offers a travel time of four hours and five minutes, with departures from Spittal Hauptbahnhof at 07:40, 11:40, and 17:40. Trains from Vienna depart at 07:15, 13:15, and 16:15. The route includes stops in Villach, Pörtschach, Klagenfurt, and Kühnsdorf. Additionally, a new commuter link between Spittal and Villach will run at 06:56 and 20:40 to support local regional transit needs. Westbahn Managing Directors Marco Ramsbacher and Thomas Posch confirmed that valid **Kärntner Linien** tickets are accepted within Carinthia.
