The Wiener Eislaufverein officially opens its new season on November 5 at 3:00 PM. Located on Lothringer Straße near the , the facility is offering free entry to all visitors on opening day. President Thomas Meixner also announced a new board for hockey.
While the toilets have been renovated, the facade, windows, and cloakroom still require urgent work. Major renovations are currently delayed due to the uncertain Heumarkt project. The site is owned by Wertinvest, while the club remains a tenant until 2056.
Adult day tickets now cost 11.60 Euro on weekdays and 12.60 Euro on weekends. These price increases are driven by rising rent, energy, and personnel costs. To offset expenses, the club continues to generate revenue through various events during the summer.
