# Wiener Wohnen Approves 387 Air Conditioning Units

**Wiener Wohnen** has approved 387 [air conditioning](<https://austriareport.com/entity/air-conditioning-q173725>) units and rejected 154 applications as of late September. Currently, 770 procedures and 35 new applications are being processed. Over 3,000 tenants have received detailed advice regarding these installations.

City Councilor [Elke Hanel-Torsch](<https://austriareport.com/entity/elke-hanel-torsch-q130635258>) and interim director **Katharina Klement** noted that medical or commercial law proof is no longer required for split units. However, licensed specialists must perform the work, meeting strict noise, energy, and safety standards.
