Brau Union, Austria's largest beer group and a subsidiary of , has announced a 2.9 percent price increase for retail chains and catering businesses. The adjustment affects popular brands including , , Kaiser, Puntigamer, and Schwechater.

The new pricing takes effect on December 1, following a similar 3.2 percent hike implemented in December of the previous year. Manager Simon Steyrl noted that the portfolio also includes Wieselburger and Schladminger, which are subject to the new rates.
