The FPÖ has summoned four additional witnesses to the parliamentary inquiry committee investigating the death of Christian Pilnacek. New witnesses include Interior Minister Gerhard Karner’s head of cabinet and three police officers on duty the night he died.
The inquiry committee, requested by the FPÖ, focuses on official investigations into Pilnacek's death. FPÖ parliamentary group leader Christian Hafenecker confirmed that ÖVP politicians Christian Stocker, Gerhard Karner, and Wolfgang Sobotka will be questioned.
Five sessions are currently scheduled for the committee, with the next meeting set for October 7. This inquiry into the former Interior Minister and other officials aims to clarify the circumstances surrounding the case through rigorous parliamentary oversight.
