Herbert Kickl Concludes ORF Sommergespräche Series

FPÖ leader Herbert Kickl addressed the ORF levy, Identitarians, and headscarf bans during his appearance on the final summer interview.

Chairman appeared as the final guest on the Sommergespräche series hosted by Simone Stribl this Monday. Kickl follows previous appearances by Leonore Gewessler, Beate Meinl-Reisinger, Andreas Babler, and ÖVP Chairman Christian Stocker.

During the interview, Kickl addressed the ORF household levy, labeling it a compulsory tax and announcing a referendum. He also defended the Identitarians as a right-wing NGO worth supporting, while the FPÖ currently leads the APA election trend at 39 percent.

The discussion coincided with a new headscarf ban for girls under 14 in schools. While Stocker calls for a ban on political Islam, the FPÖ advocates extending the headscarf ban to all students, following Kickl's high-rated appearance from the previous year.
