Innsbruck to Launch New Parking Rules Monday

Innsbruck introduces extended fee hours, new paid zones, and uniform resident permit costs starting November 2 across the city.

Starting Monday, November 2, will implement new parking regulations across the Tyrolean capital. Fee requirements are extending until 9 p.m. in many zones, with three new paid areas introduced in the Arzl, Kranebitten, and Olympic Village districts.

Short-term zones and parking streets will now follow uniform fee times from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. weekdays and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturdays. New green parking streets cost 1.10 Euro per 30 minutes with a nine Euro daily cap and no maximum parking duration limits.

Resident parking permits are increasing to a uniform monthly fee of 9.96 Euro. While existing short-term tariffs remain, 26 new machines will now allow cashless payments. Specific daily fee rules also apply to sites like and Ambras Castle until 9 p.m.
