Tirol led all federal states with 28.1% of jams, followed by Carinthia at 18.9% and Salzburg at 18.3%. The A10 Tauern Autobahn was the most congested route, while the Karawanken Tunnel remained the top individual hotspot with 35 recorded standstill events.
Traffic volume caused 43.4% of delays, while border crossing issues rose to 19.5%. These figures precede major infrastructure projects, including the A10 tunnel renovations set for 2027 and the Karawanken Tunnel tube completion scheduled for 2029.
