Russmedia-Gruppe announced on Friday it will close the Moser Holding printing site in Innsbruck, affecting 63 employees. Managing Director Markus Raith called the strategic move a shift to bundle all printing orders exclusively in Schwarzach starting in April.
Operations in Innsbruck will continue fully until March 31, 2027, under Managing Director Alexander Ströhle. A social plan is planned for the staff losing their jobs. This follows Russmedia's acquisition of 77 percent of Moser Holding shares this past July.
The consolidation follows the exit of the Moser family, with BTV Vier Länder Bank AG retaining 23 percent. By moving production to its Schwarzach headquarters, Russmedia integrates printing with its administrative hub, overseeing brands like tt.com and VN.
